With decades of experience as a public health professional, the speaker will examine how Dharma cultures, traditions and practices have approached good health and well-being, how these are deeply aligned with modern medical research and practices, and propose ways in which they could enrich the public discourse on SDG 3.

Dr. Rajinder Singh
Dr. Rajinder Singh is a Transplant Surgeon at the Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which is the busiest abdominal multi-organ retrieval unit in Europe. Dr. Singh has been the recipient of the Wake Forest University Gold Award for clinical research, and the ASTS Young Investigator Award (2011). He has several publications in the field of abdominal transplantation in reputed peer reviewed journals. He also takes initiatives to promote deceased donor organ donation in the UK.
