The present paper has been highlighted Buddhist perspective on poverty, Buddhism believes poverty comprises sufferings, and there is a casual relationship between material poverty and spiritual poverty. The eradication of poverty prerequisites to be established by the formation of a society free of corruption, social tensions, conflicts and struggles where people can live in agreement, amity and peace.
